
Obstructive Sleep Aponea and Overweight (non-diabetic, using CPAP machine)

A research study investigation how well a new medication helps people with excess body weight and obstructive sleep aponea treated with CPAP machines to lose weight and improve the sleep aponea.
- Age > 18 years
- BMI > 27kg/m2
- Obstructive Sleep Aponea - previously diagnosed
- On CPAP for at least 3 months prior to screening (1 week washout required prior to sleep study for screening)
- Sleep study to confirm eligibility (at no cost)
- Non-diabetic
- Not taking Ozempic/Mounjaro for at least 1 year prior to screening
Outpatient Visit
- Screening visit (part 1 and part 2)
- Clinic visit every 4 weeks
Information for Practitioners
- Screening bloods collected during visit
- Previously diagnosed moderate to severe obstructive sleep aponea, repeat sleep study conducted during screening period
- Non-diabetic
- No history of cancers within 5 years of screening
- No history of chronic pancreatitis or acute pancreatitis within 180 days of screening
- Able to withold CPAP for 7 days prior to required sleep studies for the duration of the study
