A research study investigating a new medication to see how it helps people with excess body weight and Obstructive Sleep Aponea not using CPAP lose weight and improve the sleep aponea
- Age > 18 years
- Overweight - BMI
- Sleep Aponea - already diagnosed, not using CPAP, not intending to start CPAP during study
- Non-diabetic
- BMI ≥ 27kg/m2
- Weekly self-injection
- Not taking Ozempic/Mounjaro within 1 year of screening
Outpatient Visit
- Screening visit (part 1 and part 2)
- Clinic visit every 4 weeks
Information for Practitioners
- Screening bloods collected during visit
- Sleep study to confirm diagnosis during screening period
- Diagnosed moderate-severe Sleep Aponea (without CPAP, not intenting to start CPAP during the study)
- No history of cancers within 5 years of screening
- No history of chronic pancreatitis or acute pancreatitis within 180 days of screening
- No history of obesity surgery (some allowed >1 yr prior to screening
