Effect of a new medication on patients with established CVD and/or CKD and obesity.
- Age > 50 years
- BMI > 25 kg/m²
- Oral tablet daily
- Not taking Ozempic/Mounjaro
- History of heart attack or coronary artery disease OR
- History of stroke OR
- History of peripheral vascular disease OR
- History of chronic kidney disease
Payment / Remuneration
- Travel $75 per visit
- Meal reimbursment for fasting visits $48
Information for Practitioners
- Screening bloods collected during visit
- Fundus photography for diabetic participants
- Previous MI/CVA/PVD or CKD, not within 90 days of screening
- Not diabetes type 1
- No history of acute or chronic pancreatitis
- No history of cancers within 5 years of screening (some exceptions)
