A research study looking at a new medication for people with Heart Failure and Obesity.
- Age > 18 years
- BMI ≥ 30kg/m2
- Heart function > 40% (tested within 12 months or at screening visit)
- Weekly self-injection
- Not taking Ozempic/Mounjaro for 90 days prior to screening
- Can be diabetic or non-diabetic
Outpatient Visit
- Screening visit (part 1 and part 2)
- Clinic visit every 4 weeks for 8 months
- Then clinic visits every 13 weeks
Information for Practitioners
- Screening bloods
- Echo if not completed within 12 months (no cost)
- Fundus photography for diabetic participants (no cost)
- Ejection Fraction >40% (tested within 12 months or at screening visit)
- No MI, stroke, unstable angina or worsening HF leading to hospitalisation within 30 days of screening visit
